How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I sleep better on a bed with a mattress and bed sheets. In addition, I have a bicycle that simplifies my movement around. All that has brought happiness in my life. Before, I used to sleep on the floor with a mat and black ants would bite, and my movements were limited in search for what to do but this bicycle has changed that.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well supporting people's livelihood by giving money directly that has enabled them to acquire items that they wouldn't have managed to own by themselves, for instance taxi motorcycles, land and building houses. I don't notice anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to complete payment of land purchased.The balance was used to buy building materials especially iron sheets & bricks, then a bicycle, and clothes.

The change that I have received in my daily life is that, I have gained self esteem because I have been able to complete payment of a plot of land that I will stay in.

The moment I received my cash transfer, I celebrated with a lot of joy and jubilation because I completed payment of a plot of land that I had I acquired to settle in.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my cash transfer worth UGX 500,000 for completing purchasing a plot of land. I bought bricks worth UGX 720,000, Iron sheets costed 72,000, a mattress costed UGX 180,000, Bed sheets costed UGX 15,000. I bough three goats worth UGX 90,000, I bought clothes worth 95,000 and the balance of UGX 28,000, I spent it on feeding.

When i receive this money, i will buy some cows to help in agriculture and also build a better house.
