Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a plan to buy more building materials to build a new house for my visitors.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest in my daily life is that I have been able to buy building materials that I plan to use in building a new house for my visitors. By building this house, my visitors will have a place to sleep in instead of sharing a sleeping area with my children or even having to go to my neighbours homestead to sleep there. I have been able to also buy food for the family on a daily basis even when I could not get ant money form casual work.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have built the house at the end of six months. We will not be walking around homesteads asking for a place for visitors to sleep in anymore. At the end of it all, they will have a comfortable place for themselves whenever they come visiting.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that; in the past, I used to walk to my relatives to beg for family contribution towards my children's education. But now, GiveDirectly has made me pay school fees without any stress. The community members are also handling with high dignity unlike the other time when they could see a beggar.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to be good in terms of economic income, and management of the projects. I plan to buy dairy cow for milk. The demand for milk keeps on increasing and may like to take that opportunity to make money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better of compared to the past life experience. Ideally, I could say that I am capable of paying my bills without any panic. I remember, before GD came to the village, a time came when my son was sent back home for fees, I became sick and was diagnosed with high blood pressure. Currently, I have no stress of anything and I do things as planned.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I plan to start pork business, but before that, I may like to have some savings to accomplish that, I plan to buy piglets at affordable price, raised the animals and later slaughter. From this I hope to raise a lucrative income.
