How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I now have a plot of land which I didn't have. I'm filled with joy yet I used to be a miserable poor woman. I have a shop of my own which I didn't have before GD enrolling me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD has supported me as a poor woman and according to me, whatever GD is doing is so commendable.
I have nothing negative about GD.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The big difference in my life is that there is now hope of building my own house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy because I did not expect such kind of help from GD.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I paid 1600000/= as part of the money required to secure a plot of land, people who were present during agreement writting took 25000/=, I also bought 2 plastic chairs at 36000/=, cloth 30000/= and the balance was used for feeding.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is heart disease issue. I always collapse only to wake up and finding my self in the hospital on admission.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The hapiest part of my day is the suprise visit of my brother to my household, before he had abundoned and neglected to me his son at the age of 11months but last Saturday he came arround and is very supportive. The boy is now 1year and 7months old.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money to me means eradicating hunger from my household and rental life. I am going to buy land where; I will be able to do crop farming and also construct a house.
