How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before GD's intervention, I used to till the ground with hand hoe using my bare hands which was so tiresome. The food production was low because I could not till large chunks of land because I did not have enough energy due to my old age. Secondly, I used to do a lot of agricultural manual work in order to sustain the well being of my household. Now that I received transfers from GD, I can plough with my oxen and I no longer do casual labor because these transfers enabled my achieve what I lacked in my household. For example, I bought household items like beddings, utensils, Food and livestock.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will straight away buy oxen for ploughing.Upto now we are using hand hoes for tilling the ground and this has made me and family members not to dig a big portion of the garden where we could plant more crops. The remainder of the money I would use to buy cement to plaster the house, hire a piece of land to cultivate more crops so as to get more food in the house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is lunch time. It is the time of the day when I'm with my family members sharing a meal and chating together.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of adequate land for crop cultivation is my biggest hardship. The small piece of land cannot provide enough area for extensive crop cultivation. With a bigger portion of land, I could grow more crops which I could sell to get more money for my family.
