How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I want to fix my house because the house that I am living in right now is not comfortable for living anymore, thanks to GiveDirectly who has granted me the opportunity to start fixing it. I also want to have enough money to keep sending my children to school, I will improve my farm so that it can help raise more money for my family expenses.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I love GiveDirectly because they are kind in talking to us even though they are the ones helping us, they treat us with respect. I also love GiveDirectly because they are helping us unconditionally through our mobile money accounts without any third party being involved, they are also so straight in their processes. GiveDirectly is doing everything okay to me, I don't have anything against them.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I haven't used any of my third transfer yet, but I will buy building materials with my it so that I can start fixing my house. I will also saved some money for future purposes in case there is a need, the remaining amount will be used to buy food for my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If God help me I receive the money I will build my own house with it in town here. Because the house I am in now is my mother house and the house is very old. Like last here, when heavy win blows, the entire roof moved from over us in the night. So need to move from it , but now I don't have the means. In addition to what I will do, if the money enough after building my house, I will put the rest in business so that I will be able to be sending my four children whose father is not alive again to school. Since the father died few months again, my brother has been helping them with school fees. But myself need to help him too.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes, I was happy when my children got promotion to their next classes after they closed school. I was also happy the fact that me and my children are well in our body.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Tbe main challenge here for me is money. Because since my spouse died, only my brother and myself taking care of them. And here the cassava I can sell to earn money and provide food and other thing price has dropped so badly. Like the way dry season coming it is the time to make garden. But no money to buy chemicals and fertiliser for that activities. So I am even worrying about how to get money for those thongs.
