What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transt to purchase a plot of land that I intend to build my home.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well to give me money that I have spent for buying a plot of land. GiveDirectly has not done anything bad for me.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Through these unconditional cash transfers, I was able to acquire a plot of land that I intend to build my home since I separated with the farther of my 3 children. Before receiving these transfers, I didn't have enough money to buy a plot of land much as I wanted to leave my parent's home and get my children their own home.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used Ugx 1500000 of my first transfer as a deposit for the plot of land I'm purchasing. I also bought a mattress, bed linen and clothes with Ugx 200000.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received the money. This is because, for so long I had wished to buy a plot of land but didn't have the money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life is very different in that, I sleep well and have a peace of mind. In the past, I only had a bed sheet and a blanket that I shared with my three children. In addition, my relatives used to threaten my life over the piece of land I currently stay in and this made me worry a lot for my life.

The biggest hardship that I am faced with is taking care of the scholastic needs of my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the noon time when I am seated with my neighbours.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to buy a piece of land that I can settle in.
