How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal for my recent transfer is for me to registrar my children in school.

In my mind GiveDirectly did well because they help me with money to send my children to school. I did not see anything that GiveDirectly did not do well.

The only goal set is for me to build my house, so I am awaiting my last transfer to withdraw all to start my project.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal has always been to send my children to school because I have so many children and things been very difficult. I normally cut wood and lay basket to sell in Cesto before sending my children to school but GiveDirectly transfer helping me now to send my children to school and reducing my stress.

GiveDirectly is doing well because they are helping us to send our children to school with the cash that I we are receiving. I have not seeing any bad thing yet.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy to have received my first transfer. I was so full of joy to the extend that I had to spread lappa to dance on it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Things was very difficult on us. I used to burned coals to sell or cut woods and carried to cestos city in canoe to sell just to feed the family and sent my daughter to school. Most often, she was sent out of class because of school fees. At times, she would stayed home for two to three weeks before we can meet up with the demand and than she would go back to school but when I got enrolled on this Give Directly Life changing program and got my first transfer, I paid my daughter school fees and bought some building materials for my house project.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
For a lone period of time now, my husband and I have been struggling to take care of the family's wellbeing from the little proceeds earned from the Charcoal we burned. When I received this cash transfer, I will invest in small business and also used the remaining transfer to enroll my five children in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
With the struggle and hardship my family is go through, I'm filled with joy to hear that GiveDirectly has finally arrived in our village to change my life positively.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The Charcoal we burned can't earn us enough money provide our family two meals a day, medical bill, and get our kids in school. Therefore, I can say that lack of money is a serious challenge for my family.
