How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goals after receiving the cash transfer are to build a new house, and then start a new business.

Give Directly has done extremely well then any NGO that has worked in our County. They have brought smile to our faces by changing our status in life. Thanks GD.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money from Give Directly I was really happy until I started dancing. I am a widow, I struggled to make my living from farming. My mother and I live together and I am the only person caring for her, Because she is very sick. My house is very old with thatch roof, During raining season there are leakages in the entire house. The leaking roof make the house wet and cold. I want to build a new house so my mother and I can have a better place to stayed.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
There has been a huge difference in my life since I started receiving transfer fund from GiveDirectly. I used to worried about building a better shelter for my mother and I. The house we lived in, is in a very bad condition, During raining season we experienced lot of leakages. Now that Give Directly have started sending me money I will build my own house and cater to my sick mother. I am so grateful to Give Directly for helping me with financial assistance.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I want to build a new house because my Old house is in a very bad condition. The thatch roof are all damaged. To start my new house project I used portion of my first transferred to buy one bundle of roofing sheets costing $20000 LD, The remaining money I used it to paid my mother medical bills.

" For the past 6 months, I have never been happy or joyful because of the death of my husband and the constant Illness of my old mother".

" Since my husband died, there have been many challenges, I brush bushes to make farm myself, and the worst of it is the lack of money".
