How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to is to build a house for my children that are schooling in the city. I live in the village where there is no school, so I am decided to move my children to where they can have access to build a new home for school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did very well in our lives. We were using cow waste to rob our floor, but now we have cement to plaster the floor. They are best at changing lives of people who have no hope. They wish the best for us. I dont know of anything GiveDirectly is not doing well for now.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer was use to pay my son school fees. The balance is in save for future use.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
After I received the transfer from GiveDirectly, I decided to buy two bundle of zinc to build my house, I also though on paying one of my son's school fees, and to also pay the person who plaster my living room floor.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly can help people financially, so they can be able to send their children school, build house and make business. GiveDirectly can't take food nor water or anything from people.

When I withdraw my money from my mobile account, I bought two bundle of zinc to build my house, I also pay one of my son's school fees, then I use the balance money to pay the person who plaster my living room floor.

I also though on sending some money to my two children for them to pay their school fees.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment that I received the transfer fund from give directly,I was very, very happy and started dancing.

My biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving money from give-directly is that I have a home to call my own, I am having a three square meal per day, that of which I never have afford for my children and I.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" There is no high school in this town as such, we dwellers of this town normally send our children to Kanweaken to complete high school. As I speak, my children are there schooling but we have to pay rent to, so if I am eligible, I will buy a piece of land in Kanweaken a build a house on it for my children while they are there going to school".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"I struggle every farming season to make farm so that the proceeds from the sales of the crops can be used to educate my children despite of frustration caused by animals every season. By the grace of God, they all made successful passed, hearing of this at the end of the school year brought me so much joy".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Over the years, low harvest and lack of roads network has been the major challenges my household faced. Animals continue to destroy our crops during the farming seasons which affects the level of harvest and causes my household to buy rice instead of living on the rice we grow. Moreover, the rest of the crops sometimes get damage because of lack of roads network".
