How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Any new goals that I did not have before receiving were to be able to support my family with the basic needs. I was unable to provide food for a family of 2 people but now that is history as we have enough food. I have also managed to pay school fees for my child that he goes to school now.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly do everything well. They give us the financial support which has helped us to improve our lives. We have managed to build houses as well as to educate our children.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the transfer on 20 iron sheets to build a house. I also bought 2 goats which I want to sell in future at a profit. The money also helped me to buy food for me and my child Mackdonald that we do have enough food in the house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to develop , I already have a house but I need cement to have a better floor and will also buy some livestock , I failed to do this because I was financially incapacitated
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am only happy when I have less things on my mind to worry about
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge I am currently facing is hunger , I keep farming every year but due to drought ,I haven't been able to eat better yields
