I am happy that the results of the first and the second transfer after spending were amazing, and even though I am still following up on some projects that I started, I have a new goal to improve my livestock farming. Currently, I have two dairy cows, but I am hopeful that I will soon buy another two to increase the production of milk that, in turn, will increase the daily income for my household.

The second transfer came in when my household was well set on the spending plans. We had just moved from our old home after demolishing it to a new location just meters away within the same piece of land. I spent the remaining amount on obtaining a mattress for my new bed and also clothing for my three children. I was at home feeding livestock when I heard a message alert on my phone. I decided to read and know its contents and my heart was filled with joy on seeing the Mpesa message. Having a good shelter for my family has always been my aim but I had not been able to achieve it due to an unstable source of income. Currently, I am happy and satisfied that I was able to build a two-room house using the transfer. With this house, my wife will not be going to the river to fetch water during the rainy season since I will be harvesting rainwater. In addition, I am glad that my children will soon start spending their nights at home since they will be able to sleep in the kitchen.

I spent a good amount from my first transfer on building a more spacious house for my family. I settled on this since we live in a small single-room house and due to this, my children always sleep at my mother's house and we also have to assemble all our belongings in one corner so that we can spread our beddings. In addition, I spent KES 3000 on farming by hiring a tractor for land preparation purposes and used the remaining KES 5000 on food to last my family for some time.
