How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
This year my accomplishment is to furnish my house. I also wish to start a new business.i also want to send my children to school in the city.

I didn't work for this money, and I have benefited a lot. Givedirectly is doing well in my life.Givedirectly give us money and they also visit us to know how we used the money they give us. I think GD should continue with the same process in the next village.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy that night when my phone response with an sms alert tell me that I have getting money from Give Directly. This is the first of it kind in this town for an institution to give unconditional cash transfer to people without paying back.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that, my children will attend the best school in the city through the help of Give Directly unconditional cash transfer.

I'm planning to pay my children school fees in the city , this first transfer will be spent behind my two girls children that are attending grade school in the capital city.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Upon receiving this grant I will use huge portion of the transfer to start up a business which will improve my living condition. The remaining portion of the transfer will be use on the children education because their father has totally refuse to educate them since the day we separated.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what brought happiness to was that I give birth safely to a male child.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge I am facing is the issues finance, I am a single mother who has been finding it difficult to feed my kids because their father is no longer willing to help me.
