In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly does well in that every recipient has received all their transfers and has also helped to eradicate poverty from most families in this village,I don't see where givedirectly has not done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that i am now sleeping in iron roofed house which I don't think I would have managed to do it on my own,I am also not so poor as before,I can afford all meals but before getting this transfer I couldn't afford all meals,I would have only one meal.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my life is lack of money to buy cattle and an ox plough for tilling my land. Usually when it is the season for cultivation, i have to beg from neighbours which some times does not help because there are delays. This is so stressing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening. This is the time when my children return back from school. Being in my children's presence is fun. This is because these children tell stories after stories. They also relieve me by doing household activities like cooking, washing utensils.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means building a house. My current grass thatched house is falling apart. This money will help my household have a comfortable sleep in our new house, making our compound look different with an iron roofed house.
