How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have this initial goal of building a house in Cestos city, River Cess county. My previous transfer received gave me the opportunity of buying a land in Cestos city. I live with my husband and four children. But we (husband and I) do not want our children to stay here in Pankloh to go to school. It is our wish for them to attend school in Cestos city. Receiving this last transfer has given us the ability to fulfil the dream of constructing a house in Cestos city.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD is doing so much good for us through its cash transfer model. I didn't had the thinking of receiving such a huge cash to work towards owning things I dream of then. It is because of GiveDirectly that my family and I own a land in Cestos city, which we are very grateful to have. As for things done unwell by GD, I do not have any knowledge of such. I just want to extend my true gratitude to GD for being here for us.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my last transfer on the purchase of zinc, nails and gasoline for the sawing of planks to construct a new house in Cestos city. It is my husband and I biggest wish of owning a house in the capital of River Cess county. Owning a house in Cestos city will paved the opportunity for our children to live there to acquire better education than being here in Pankloh. My husband and I are so thankful to GD for reaching our village, Pankloh, to provide this unique opportunity of making our dream come to reality.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to build a house in the City of Cestos where my husband, plus my four children and I will live. I bought a land in the City of Cestos after I received my first transfer. It has been my wish to own a place in Cestos in order to easing my children access to good school. The quality of education here in Plankoh Village is too poor. My husband and I usually find it difficult to support our children education in Cestos city. It cost us too much to pay house rent for accommodation and tuitions for our children. However, this is why I am planning on constructing a house in Cestos city with this transfer received.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well by giving us cell phone and direct cash transfer. I am so excited about the money received from this organisation. It has allowed me to think big about things I never thought of owning. Now I own a land in Cestos city, which makes me the first in my family to have such property. So, I am very glad about the working of GiveDirectly and for reaching our village, Pankloh.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will spend this most recent transfer on buying zinc, the sawing of plank and the cutting of sticks to start the construction of a new house in Cestos city. It cost my husband and I too much to pay house rent and tuitions for our children to live in Cestos and go to school. So, this transfer will enable us to have a house of our own in the City of Cestos where we want have to worry on house rent for our children any longer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Since July my house broke down, I have not been able to rebuild it. With such a great opportunity from GiveDirectly, I will used this money to rebuild my house, pay my children school fees for the next academic year and establish a business that will allow to get some source of income. The bush work doesn't provide a stable income but there is no other option.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Despite all the many challenges I'm facing I feel happy whenever I pray. Prayer has been my source of joy, kowing that God will answer my prayers and hear my cry for help. This has made me happy over the years.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
For over one decade, life has not always been easy for my family. We have had so many challenges, some of the most recent ones includes; not being able to provide food for my children, rebuilding our home, because we are homeless right now as I speak to you and paying my children school fees.
