What does receiving this money mean to you?
Dropping out of school is a miserable life to live ever especially when you have the ambition to graduate from High school and extend for higher education. I am a 9th grade student of the Cestos city Method high school who dropped out of school in 2020 May when my grandfather, whose house I was dwelling in for my schooling passed away in 2020. I have since planned to go back to school when I have a little cash that could serve me for a school year without problem. Fortunately with GiveDirectly program of giving out unconditional cash transfer , I will definitely use cash if I am qualified to go back to school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiness comes whenever I am able to put food on table for my spouse and I. Since I moved in Henry Blay house, his wife most often help me with food when my spouse is away , and I am always happy to add to her food because I feel guilty of eating food from someone without equally contributing to such food . With that said above, I always contributed to her food when my Madam isn't around to prepare ours to make me happy . Without that , I feel uncomfortable .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have been facing lot of challenges to go back to school. Presently, I am doing a daily work to craft cannon for people where I can spend a week or two in the Forest to be paid $700 LRD daily . These are real physical work that sometimes cause you to commit suicide . I have not been able to save cash that enable me go back to school since I began the daily contract for cash the fact that I have a pregnant woman. I also need to make a little farm every year to keep my spouse and I with food. With her present condition that she couldn't do any hard work because of her pregnancy, I am totally challenged in so many ways that I couldn't explain to the fullest.
