What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on renovating my house. I bought furniture. I bought bedding , bought food and paid school fee for my child.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I feel I have moved a great step a head. The type of furniture I have I never imagined I would own it in my life. I feel like a human being and people respects me in the village.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well by giving cash directly to recipients without going through administrative. This enabled the recipients to get full amount of money without any deductions.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy building materials that I used to construct a two roomed house.My previous house was constructed in a swampy area and this was risky as it could collapse anytime. I also paid school fees for my daughter in secondary school and I am happy now she is in school and able to attend to all the lessons.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that is that I have a new strong house in a safe place. The panic of my house collapsing is no longer in me. My daughter is also in school.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy one sack of maize for my family's consumption, bought a new mattress, bought new shoes and clothes for my children in order for them to look decent.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
The house am currently living in has sunk due to floods and it is also old hence the need for me to build a new and bidder house, I have children in school and I will have to pay their school. That is all am planning to use my second transfer on.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to use part of the transfer to build a new house, because this one is in a bad condition. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to pay school fees for our son, whom we expect to join form one next year. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to lease a piece of land, where we plan to expand our to kales growing activities.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we are very proud of is that, our first born child, sat for class eight exams, and we expect him to join secondary school next year.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced is, inadequate income to build a new house, because this one is in a bad condition.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when we are having supper together as a family, and sharing the events of the day.
