What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on starting a savings plan with IMARISHA SACCO after forming a group of five individuals with some other four beneficiaries with the intention of buying a three legged Piaggio for business purposes.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that am now able to take a loan because of my savings with IMARISHA SACCO, thanks to GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by giving the transfers directly to the recipients then allow them to decide on how spend the money by themselves without any conditions.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to open up a soloon since my wife is a salonist and would like to have her own saloon . Secondly l would wish to do paultry farming to generate income to support my family. Finally l would like to join a group of those who received money so that we can put part of our money to buy tuktuk for business to generate more income.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that l have struggled to educate my children and my last born is in college.

My biggest hardship in life lack of food security to sustain my family.

My happiest part of the day is in the morning when working in self help grow doing farming.
