How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I am happy to have been able to build an iron sheet roofed house, and happy to handle such an amount of money in my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well sending is money to buy land, build iron sheet roofed houses, household items and whatever each household wanted, and importantly, it gives the money direct to the beneficiary. I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay debts for money borrowed and the balance saved is to be used to buy doors and windows.
