What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on stocking food since we were suffering from hunger. I also bought goats for rearing as an investment.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different In a way that i no longer have to do hard labour to access my needs especially food because i managed to stock food with the transfers i received which wasn't the case before the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by choosing remote villages to be the ones to benefit from transfers because by doing so, they present such villages with an opportunity to develop.

I spent my second transfer on building a good house because I was very badly off, sleeping like a rat.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my status in the community has greatly changed since am now considered one of the responsible men. I can't believe that even Kakayi, vulnerable as I am, can build a good house.

I spent my first transfer on buying Iron sheets,bricks and I also paid for labour and transporting these materials because I have started on buliding a big roof house since am tired of the grassed-thatched house .Am proud of GiveDirectly.

I am planning to spend my transfer on building an iron roofed house because my grass thatched house has so far caught fire twice and if I build an iron roof , I am likely to going to suffer from the fires
