How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed because I have managed to get medical attension and am feeling better. I wound't have got this treatment if I never received the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well not to get bribes from us before giving us the transfers. They also approach us with customer care. There is nothing they are not doing well, how I wish they could continue giving us more money.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying a cow at UGX 800,000,food at UGX 300,000, paying a medical bill of UGX 415,000 and I saved UGX118,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I can afford to eat what I desire at any time.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my cash transfer, I felt a lot of joy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I got my second cash transfer, I used it for buying a cow worth 670,000ugx, I bought two mattresses at 160,000ugx, ground nuts costed 70,000ugx, a bed 75,000ugx, treatment was done at 184,000ugx, feeding costed 1,41,000ugx and there is a balance of 400,000ugx which I intend to use for feeding.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When i receive this money, i will buy some cows to help in milk production.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when i finish the whole day without feeling any pain in my body.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is sickness. I have was diagnosed with brucella and i always get malaria which limits me from doing other work.
