Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Given that I am a single mother who stays with my parents, I feel the biggest difference in my daily life is the joy within myself knowing that I will be able to secure land for my sons (their fathers do not offer any support). Prior to getting this money, I have always (and still) survived with farming on land that my father had given me. This is helping me to meet my family's day to day needs and to a larger extent save up some money to add to my transfer and buy a bigger land portion.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so delighted knowing that my plan of acquiring land would come to pass.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
Although I withdrew all my money, I have not yet spent any coin of it as I plan to add it to the next transfer and use it to buy a plot of land.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to buy a piece of land for my two sons. I married to polygamous family and our stay did not last long over wrangles. Iam staying with the two sons at my fathers home but have no where to settle them. Givedirectly transfers will enable me Obtain land for them to establish their own homesteads in future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My hope is restored in the evening hours. The whole day Iam stressed finding what my son's can eat. My mother takes time advising me on how to accept the current situation and it kind of relieves some stress.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face currently is my two sons are so sickly to the extent treating them is always an issue. I reach to a level of almost giving up because thier father has completely abandoned them. I have even failled to provide basic needs like Education, clothing and proper feeding since the little I save from casual labour is spent on their treatment.
