How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
First , second and third money i received from givedirectly was uesd for children school fees, new house materials like two bundles of zince and work manship also food for the family. For the recent transfer, i saved the transfer to a susu club to sustain my family when Givedirectly shall have left the county. My life is now better than before because, i can now afford to sustain my family. Thanks to givedirectly for the money.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My first transfer, I bought one bundle of Zinc and paid my children school fees. I have not developed a new goal. My recent transfer was used for additional two bundles of Zinc and nails with the money. My recent house is leaking and I have been planning to improved the roof but my source of livelihood had not been enough to generate much cash for a big development until GiveDirectly came and give me money. Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in the community when I heard people shouting that Givedirectly they have received their transferred. I couldnot wait to checked my phone. When I saw my transferred message, I felt very happy. Since birth, I have not received huge money from anyone . This is the first of it kind in my life. My current house is old. I have been unable to build new house due to hardship. What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan to do small business to support my children in school and to build a new house with my transfer. The house we are living in presently is damaged and leaking and because of that we plan to rebuild our house with portion of our transfer. We will use the balance for business so that our children can have a brighter future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Over the months since Givedirectly started working in Rivercess, I have been happy and hoping for my town to benefit.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I and my husband have 5kids but we are not financially strong to support him in school. My husband is a motorcyclist and he does not earn much to sustain us. We have to send money to his sister in Buchanan for the other children and also feed ourselves. We manage to buy few bundles of zine but it is not enough to build our house.
