How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am now staying in a nice permanent house where I do not need to worry of it being washed away. Of not give directly I could not have managed build the house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion give is any NGOs that appreciates it people that work with in the village they do not take people for granted. It is also an NGOs that keep its word.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the whole of the second and first transfer to complete building my permanent house that I had started building but I could not complete it because of lack of many. I am very happy because give directly has supported me achieve my dream of putting up a permanent house. I was staying in a very small muddy house where I had to repair every month because when it rains it would wash away whole wall. It was very expensive because I had to hire people to repair it because it is very unfortunate that I do not know how to repair it using mud. I am now staying in a very nice spacious comfortable house where I do not need to repair it every now and then. I also now has a name in the village because people who has permanent houses in our village is countable.
