What did you spend your third transfer on?

I spent my second transfer on building an iron roofed house at 42,000 KES, used 5,000 KES on wiring for electricity then used the rest of the cash on food for my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have a spacious house that accommodates all my visitors, unlike before when some of my visitors could remain outside due to lack of enough space in the house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent first transfer on buying three packets of hybrid seeds 1,500 KES. I bought 5 pieces of iron sheets 3000 KES since I am planning to build another house as the house I am staying in its was my late husband's and its a taboo staying in it after remarrying.I also bought a bag of maize for my family's consumption.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I felt very happy since I never knew I could receive a lumpsum amount of money which is non -refundable the whole of my life. The first thing I did was to thank God for the blessings I had received through GiveDirectly.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is getting a stable and reliable source of income to sustain my family's needs, since the casual labour like tilling peoples farms that I normally do has not been available with the current drought situation being experienced in the area.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is mostly in the evenings when I have finished all my daily chores and I can just seat to relax and enjoy a wonderful time with my children.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means the start of a better life for my family and I.I plan to build my self a new house so that I can be able to move out of the current one that was build by my husband which according to the luo culture I can not use to even entertain my in laws yet they have been waiting for a very long time to come and visit me.
