How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Now that i have the money, i have been able to start rearing livestocks and build my own house. Without the money, this would've never been possible.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
You have no idea how much our lives have improved with the cash transfers. Even if you come and observe us,we are not the same individuals that used to struggle for basic needs. Our lives have changed for the better, the program has been our saving grace and i did not find any fault with it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Most of the money has been spent in purchasing new iron sheets for the new house as well as school fees for my child who is in secondary. Another good amount has been used to purchased 4 goats and another has been spent on food.
