When i recieved the money i was very happy and thankful i could not belive that i had indeed recieved the money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Right now i am able to have a house and as of now my family is having enough food to eat. I am very greatful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i recieved the money, i thought it wise to spend the money on buying building materials for a better house because the the one that i jave is very small to fit my family comfortably. I bought 24 iron sheets and had bricks made as well as timber for the roof. I spared some money to buy food mainly maize because i did not have harvest enough. I bought some clothes and kitchen utensils for my home.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money means a lot to my family. I am in dire poverty and I am struggling to make both ends meet. I am planning to use the money wisely. First of all, I will buy some bags of maize because the maize I harvested is not enough to carry me throughout the year. I will also build a house, buy furniture and some kitchen utensils.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy when I have enough food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge is food. Our harvest is always little.
