In the last four months, paying school fees had been difficult because I do not have a reliable source of income. I could constantly struggle as a peasant farmer to raise some money for their fees. I could at times find my self doing more than three casual jobs in a day in order to meet my needs. Currently, the transfers I save has helped me a great deal. I have been using the savings to cater for emergencies. I also used part of the savings to build a kitchen. I now own a new kitchen which is currently providing good shelter for my children. In the past, they were forced to sleep at the neighborhood which was risky for their life.

In the next four months, my new goal is to start up a business dealing in selling second clothes. Second-hand clothes business is the latest lucrative business in town. I thought it was good business because it is not perishable and it also has a ready market. From the business, I shall be able to generate some income which I shall use to pay school fees for my children. I shall also be independent hence I shall not rely too much on my husband who is currently staying in Nairobi.

The biggest difference in my life in the last four months is being able to pay school fees for my son with a lot of ease. He was not sent back home the last term thus he was able to learn comfortably. As a result, he was able to perform better than how he had been performing when he was frequently sent home. Secondly, I used the transfers to build a new kitchen which is currently not only used for cooking but also a sleeping place for my children. The kitchen I had previously was old which was unsafe at night and during the rainy season. It had cracks all over and which would allow the crawling animals to get in. I could also be rained on at times while making dinner for my family. In the past, my kids were forced to sleep in the neighborhood. This was unsafe especially for my daughters who could be raped or killed in the dark as they head to the neighbor's house. I always promised myself to build a house any time I got the chance and ability to build one.

In the next six months, my new goal is to start up a business of selling second-hand clothes. Second-hand clothes are easy to get and will go very fast as long as I target the right clients. From the business, I shall be able to generate some income which I shall use to pay school fees for my children. I always feel like a burden to my husband since I am jobless and depend on him on almost everything. But with this business I will be adding value to my home. I shall also be independent hence I shall not rely too much on my husband who is currently staying in Nairobi.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving the transfer is that, I managed to pay school fees for my four children in high school and I am proud that they are going on with their education being that I was not previllaged to get education fully and only want the best for them.

I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, from the profits of my business I will start saving hoping to continue paying school fees without struggling.

My life is currently different from how it would have been if I never received my transfer in that, I have managed to pay school fees with ease for my four children .

My new goal is to start my business, probably selling fish to get income.
