What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying a bag of maize and a goat. I am expanding of my house into a decent spacious three roomed house and this project is still in progress since the previous house I used to leave in has been small hence its not fitting my family members comfortably. I am still remaining with an amount of 10,000 KES which I will used on the completion of expanding my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am hopeful of completing expanding my house into a decent plastered three roomed house that I have been longing for in a long time and GiveDirectly has made it a reality.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that we face is lack of a stable income. This is because we cannot grow as a family, we cannot pay for our eldest daughter's tailoring course, we cannot pay for our children's education, we cannot start up a business to be able to have a stable income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning. This is because in the morning I still have some food left for breakfast and lunch and so seeing my family having these meals make me so happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that we will now have a source of income to depend on. It will support us in various ways like paying school fees, we can reconstruct a bigger house and it help boost our farming activities so that we get food for our children.
