How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There is a difference in my life because I have got capital that is going to enable me start a business which was in my plan but I was limited by finances. This business will change my life for better because it will generate income for my family development. If I had not got this transfer, It would take me a longer time to work for the capital.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life biggest difference is being able to get my two bulls and watermelon seedlings that I am already planting. This will help me in large scale farming in all times and sell off the watermelon when it matures. Hence giving more money to sustain my family in the long run.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Since along with my family we eager to receive transfers, I kept checking my phone for the mobile money message but in vain. Until this night that I heard a message notification and checked. Only to see, it was from Mobile Money GiveDirectly. I felt happy at that moment that I knew I was definitely going to implement my plans of buying bulls.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy two bulls at Ugx 1200000. I then bought some watermelon seedlings at Ugx 340000 and gumboots at Ugx 15000. I am saving the balance to buying some pesticides for spraying and weeding of my watermelon.
