How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been bacause I have renovated my house, It is now beautiful. I am happy and feeling at peace. Prior to receiving the transfers, my house was full of rats and there was completely no confort.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me money that I used for renovating my house and buying many things that I did not have. I have nothing to say on what has not gone well in their operations.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying a cow, utensils, bed and mattress. I spent some money on completing the renovation of my house and buying food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is different now in that, I'm so happy because I managed to renovate my house. I'm nolonger bothered by rats which used to make holes on my wall since it's now plastered. I enjoy sleeping in a good house which is dust free because the floor was cemented.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When my money was sent, my son was not around because he is my trustee. He made a phone call to me and I formed me that I have received my transfer. Immediately I heard about the money, I felt so happy because this money was going to help me work on my house.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer on renovating my house. Previously my house was so ugly, it wasn't plastered, the floor was dusty, doors and Windows were damaged by termites. So when I received my transfer I decided to set up my house to a certain standard.
