How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My hope in the upcoming years is to graduate from pauverty and be able to support myself and my family. I see myself capable of paying bills of my living costs,
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I think GiveDirectly is doing more than good. I never got any assistance that gives the freedom to buy the missing needs, for example, bed, home materials, cow, build house. This is something to appreciate. I don't see what is not being done well at GiveDirectly. The fact of helping people to get out of poverty comfort is very important. Givedirectly shall continue to do so.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
From the recent transfer, I was able to secure a cow $250, this because having a cow will be very important to me and my family as it will contribute to get money in selling milk from that cow. I also bought some home materials i missed before such as matress ($35) because it was painful for me to sleep on the floor. (now, I sleep well) thanks to Givedirecly. In addition to that, with the transfer received, I improved my house which was in critical condition, the roof was at a high risk to fall down, I revew at $200 it for my safety. Moroever, I got the ability to purchase food for my kids and pay health insurance for them the entire year.
