How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because this money has boosted my working capital hence increasing the profits. I have also acquired many things that I did not have before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well to give me money, they also sensitised us to spend money peacefully in our families . There is nothing that they are not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 200, 000ugx of my second transfer for buying Gowns for the boys who work in my shop , I used 1,200,000ugx as capital for buying motocycle spare parts. I gave my wife the balance to shop whatever she wanted.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy motorcycle spare parts for my shop, bought a solar panel for lighting at night, bought household items like chairs, plates,sauce pans, and clothes for my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved the money, i felt so happy that i couldn't wait for morning to come, and when it did, went to confirm with my neighbours whether they had also received.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is happiness, because it has increased working capital for my business.

The happiest part of the day is evening houres after sales.
