How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in that I now have peace of mind having acquired a piece of land for me to stay. I was staying in my parent's home and my brothers were not happy with me because I came back when the marriage broke. In my culture it is not right for a girl to leave the marital home regardless of the conditions of marriage.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to caution people in my village not to spend their transfers on doing things that threaten other people's lives. On the other hand they did bad not to enroll some residents whom we thought were even more vulnerable.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for completing payment of a plot of land that I had deposited for with my first transfer.
