How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I do not have any new goals as in the past all I ever wanted was to have a nice house (A house that could be fit enough for the whole family)..So with my first cash transfer I managed to achieve this dream as I was able to procure ironsheets and build a house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly provides unconditional cash transfers which helps one to purchase anything that she/ he wants.
It provides phones and simcards which eases communication problems.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my second cash transfer to procure 5 bags of maize which I was buying at k15000..I bought this inorder to bridge the gap that was in my house as I did not have sufficient food.
I bought kitchen utensils such as basins, plates and pots since the ones I had before were destroyed by the heavy rains...Lastly, I managed to purchase some beddings such that I no sleep better at night.
