What does receiving this money mean to you?
I intend to start a business to support my children in school. None of my children have been to school before since they were born because we don't have money to pay their school fees. The business will be a great help to us in that the little cassava farm we can make every year is not producing enough to enable us sell some of the cassava to get money for the children school fees. Everyday when other people children are going to school, they can be crying for me to prepare them for school. It has become so embarrassing that when ever school is open, I keep them indoors every morning until all of the school children in the town has left for school. It has always been my prayers that God should bless me with enough money to pay my children school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What really makes me happy in the last six months was during the Ramadan or El Mubarak celebration. I received several presents from family, friends and love ones. I could believe that I am so love in my town.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One of the major challenges facing me now is that I am unable to do hard work because I under went an operation on April 1st this year. This operation have been the main reason why I am unable to do any hard work now. It breaks my heart to see others sending their children to school and that I am not able to do the same for my children. How can they be able to do something for themselves if they grow up tomorrow? The world is changing now that education is so important to everyone. I did not go to school, but I was praying for God to help me with strength to raise my children well by sending them to school. This cannot happen now except someone else help me. So, if Givedirectly give me money, I will forever remain grateful and indebted to them.
