Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when i received my transfer i was very happy because it meant end of poverty which has tormented me for a longer period of time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My son's future was uncertain due to lack of school fees, exacerbated by poverty. Every time he was sent back because of outstanding school fees balances and was facing expulsion. I did not know what to do since i have no reliable source of income. Now i am at peace with transfer from givedirectly as i have paid school fees for my son and also bought him all required resources
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my transfer on 28 iron sheets for improving my house at MK5500 each, 3 bags of maize at MK9000 each, paid school fees and other items for my son who is at boarding school and saved some amount

My son got sick like misala (Madness) but now he is recover and this was a biggest hardship I faced because it was hard to look after him.
