Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Previously, I was stressed because I had no oxen for ploughing and my house was leaking. When I received the cash transfer, I embacked on rennovating the house and acquiring an ox. I look forward to hiring a piece of farm land so as to increase my food security at home.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy that day when I received the money on my account. I had plans of renovating my houses and purchasing agricultural inputs.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought a bull worth UGX950000 and utensils worth UGX150000. I spent UGX70000 on purchasing grass and UGX100000 on clothes. I also bought food and other necessities that I cannot recall. Currently, I have saved UGX300000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will build a permanent house that they will stay in. The one I sleep in currently is grass thatched and it is very expensive to repair. In case of any balance, I will buy an investment for the household in order to add on the effect of this money to my household through multiplication effect.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is at around 9:00am when I have come back from the garden and I am sure that there is no body sick from within my household. It gives me time to do other things like riding motor cycle transport business in order to earn a living.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in my life is lack of a reliable source of income in order to support my household. The lityle money I earn though farming is not enough to meet household demands like medication, education and feeding among others. I therefore struggle every day without making any savings.
