What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on smearing the house I had built with the second transfer and now its nicely aligned. I bought a solar lamp and a battery.I paid school fees for my two brother who are in college and high school respectively 10000 KES. I bought a television. I have also saved some money 7000 KES which I am planning to use on enrolling for an electrical course that I want to pursue.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now have my own shelter and I feel more comfortable in it hence I no -longer have to sleep at my neighbors or relative's places because of being homeless. Thanks to GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly did well by maintaining impartiality in the households they visited. I would to suggest that GiveDirectly should consider giving transfer once in lump-sum to avoid recipients having inconveniences to achieve some of their plans since getting money in an interval at times issues arise that one have to prioritize some of the transfers in such issues hindering them to reach their goals.
