Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my payment from GD I was very happy. I did not expect to receive such a large amount of money . I knew that the money will help me as I have no job and no source of income. This money made me so happy because I knew that it will help me take care of my three kids.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since receiving payment from GD is that I have changed the roof on my house, I now have a better roof made of iron sheets, this means during the rainy season the house won't leak and my family will live more comfortably.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my recent money transfer on a mattress, since I had no mattress and slept on the floor. I also used the money to buy iron sheets so that I put a better roof on my house. My house has a roof made of strolls. This is not easy as the roof leaks during the rainy season. Lastly I spent the money of blankets and cloths for my children.
