I have no new goals

Givedirectly does well in giving free cash which has enabled me buy things i did not have. There is nothing that you did not do well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy 16 iron sheets, 2 bags of fertilizer and paid labourers who helped with my farm work. I also bought 6 bags of maize. Thank you

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money brings so much joy to me and my family. As you can see the roof of my house is made of grass. I am really tired of having to buy grass all the time so i will use this gift to buy ironsheets and fix the house. I was not able to buy the ironsheets all this time because my wife had a problem with her eye in 2019 so all the money I had was used for medical bills. This money will also help me buy fertilizer. In the past I could harvest 40 bags from the 4 acres land that I have but because of my wife's illness I had no money to buy fertilizer or pay people to work in the farm so as of last season I had only 16 bags. I really appreciate receiving this money because it will help me meet my needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last 6 months, the one thing that made my family and I happy was in June during Eidh. This is a festive season which is celebrated after fasting for 30 days in Islam. We prepared enough food and donated some to our mosque.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently, the biggest challenge that I am facing is hunger. We are facing this challenge because we had no access to fertilizer last season. We depend on coupons of which is not a guarantee that each and every season we will receive, for example, last season we did not receive any coupons, that is why now we have challenges having enough food. At the moment, we are depending on piece work meaning each and every penny is spent it on food.
