How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life has really changed, we are now sleeping on a new mattress unlike before when we used to sleep on a mat. My children and I feel proud of it.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to build a new house because we are planning to put up our new home hence I have started buying building materials like nails and two iron sheets
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I boosted my shop business hence increase in my daily income. I am paying school fees for my child with ease. I am also able to provide for my family without any difficulty. I longer borrow foodstuffs from my neighbour like before. I thank Give Directly for having lifted my life from a very low level to where Iam now. The greatest difference in my daily life is that I no longer begger in my community and I feel very proud of it. Now, it is vice verse, my fellow woman can now come to beg from me.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have put up my home and build a decent iron roofed house. I feel good having my own hope because it is great progress and it gives someone a lot of confidence when interacting with other people in the village.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Ever since I started receiving these transfers, I have been able to afford three meals a day unlike before the transfers. Due to my small income which is the profit from my foodstuff business, I have not been able to provide all the three meals a day for my family. This is because I had to save and pay for other family needs such as school fees and medication. With GD transfers, I have been able to use my profits fully to buy food for my family and we are very healthy. The transfers have brought a big change in my life.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the four months, my new goal is to buy a goat. I will sell the goat later when its value increases so that I can get money to build a kitchen. The kitchen will be where my children will sleep because very soon they will need their private place as they are grown ups now.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have a cow of my own. I have always desired to own a cow just like my neighbours but it has not been possible due to my low income from foodstuff business. Whenever I see my neighbours sell milk or I go buy milk from them, I would feel some jealousy in me. I was determined to have a cow of my own someday. I tried saving for the same but due to many demands like school fees, I could not manage. With GD transfers, I have been saving part which I used to pay for a calf. I am glad it is maturing so fast and my dream has come true because of GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I plan to buy building materials such iron sheets which I will use in building a house in my own home. I have been living in a small house and I feel the time has come when I need to have my own home. This is why I plan to buy building materials bit by bit until I have enough to build a suitable house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would not have started the business if I did not receive money from GD.This business has really kept me busy and ensured that my family never goes hungry.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
