What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used the third transfer to add more building materials to the ones we had bought with the previous transfers and used them to build a new house. I did not have a house and I used to stay in one of my in-law's house, I'm now happy I have a place to call home.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 35000 KES of my second transfer on buying building materials (iron sheets, nails and timber) that I'm planning to use in building. I paid school fee of of 5000 KES and used the rest of the money on buying food and a few households.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have never had a house of my own in my entire life and I have always longed for one. I'm so hapy I'll soon have a house of my own because I already have building materials.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying school fees arrears for my children who are in primary 3000 KES. I bought a mattress 4000 KES and 10 tins of maize 1500 KES and household expenditure 1500 KES
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received the verification Mpesa message that my first transfer was sent from GiveDirectly in the morning while at the market and I had to read the message twice to confirm if it was true ,I felt very happy and joyful since I was certain of using the money to fulfill my greatest goal of seeing my children through their education by paying their school fees.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship currently is having my own place and home.We do not not have a place where we can build to call our own and paying rent is expensive.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest time of the day is in the Morning.While in my house doing my daily chores.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm happy to be receiving this money because have been overwhelmed with challenges and I believe I'm going to be relieved of that.
