Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Honestly it was an exciting moment in my life. What made me happy is that I received this transfer for free, something that has never happened in my life before.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
This cash grant has brought joy to my family. From now onwards, I will be putting up in a proper house because of GiveDirectly. All this was lacking in my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Well, when i got this transfer from GiveDirectly, I did not hesitate to buy iron sheets and other construction materials as I want to roof my already existing house. Iam so grateful to GD for this transfer. I will be putting up in a proper very soon.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am grateful for being enrolled in this program. I have been desiring to buy iron sheets so that I can have a proper loof but I have failed to buy over the years. I am confident that I will be able to buy iron sheets and renovate my house using the money that I will receive. I will also buy livestocks such as goats and chicken. I also plan to purchase furniture.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy when I have enough food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I lack farm inputs which lead to low food production hence constant food shortages.
