How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Prior to receiving this cash transfer, I had 3 piece of land that couldn't match the family demands, being I a farmer I needed more land to cultivated crops to boost my income level to help with my children's education and medical care. When I got money from GiveDirectly I was able to pay for a piece of land that l have currently planted sweet potatoes which I will sell part to pay school fees and feeding. Secondly, I was in position to construct an iron roofed kitchen that does not need annual renovation like the previous hut I had.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I my opinion GiveDirectly did well to give me cash that I spent for acquiring a piece of land and paying my children's school fees. I haven't observed any thing bad that GiveDirectly did.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay for a piece of land, school fees and repairing family car.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive this money, I will build a bigger ironsheets house because the one we are in currently is too small for all of us. This will help decongest the house and allow us also have good storage for other things. I have also been dealing in selling livestock but with little capital. So, part of this money will also be added into the livestock business to widen our capital base.
