How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
There is a huge difference in my life currently. I have had ample time to study in school reason being I cleared this term's school fees in time. There are limited times where I was sent home to clear any outstanding fee amount and this has quite helped me stay away from the vices of the society as I spend less time with my peers who are not in school. I can also dress well because I can afford some nice clothes which help me look smart and presentable. Whenever I am required to buy stationery or school uniform, I hardly turn to my mother to do so, I just wait on the transfers and fulfil these needs immediately. I can always chip in and help my mother on the day to day budgeting for food for the family and this has helped relieve her of the overbearing burden of toiling twice as much for the family every day.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of saving and buying a goat for rearing. This I expect to rear until they give birth then I sell later to acquire a cow which will help me secure myself financially. I can sell the cow maybe to pay my college fee and also pay my own dowry in future.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I get more time to study as I am able to settle my school fees without having to depend on my parent financially. This has resulted in me staying more in school that has helped me to acquire more knowledge and stay away from the peer pressure from my agemates who are not in school. I am really grateful to GD for making my dream come true, a dream of acquiring a better education to help in shaping my future.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
At the end of the six months, I shall have bought the goat for rearing as a finaincial security and an investment in my future life. As a man I need to be an expert in a field and this is by having a better education to be able to provide for my family someday. Rearing of livestock will see this come true and I shall have saved and ventured into it fully.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am glad that I have managed to fully stay in school throughout the whole of this year without cases of being sent home due to delayed school fees payment. Before, I used to be sent home so frequently that I barely had time to concentrate on my studies. This was brought out by the fact that I fully depended on my parents for fee payment but they do not have a source of income. This has brought a great impact on my general school performance and given me more time to focus on my studies especially now that I am preparing to sit for the national examination at the end of this year. I have also managed to change my general looks by buying new clothes over the past few months.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have not cleared paying my entire years' school fees. My current plan is to ensure that I clear the remaining amount soon enough to avoid any inconveniences as I prepare for my final examinations.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
As much I have always used most of my monthly transfers to pay my school fees, I have also managed to spare some of them to buy a few personal items such as decent clothes and shoes. I had no privilege of buying new clothes and shoes as frequent as I wanted to due to meagre income from my mother who really works hard to take care of our daily basic needs and ensure that our school needs are also taken care of. This meant that I had to survive with old clothes and one old pair of shoes that I wore on every occasion. This has certainly changed, all thanks to transfers from Give Directly that have made it possible for me to buy new ones and I am so proud that I can now dress and feel like a teenager and fit in well with my peers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
With the stress of raising my school fees set aside, I can now fully focus on my studies and do my best to ensure that I perform well in the upcoming national examination. Once this is done, I will buy livestock as an investment of the rest of my transfers which I hope will one day bring great returns.

For instance, whenever it rains or during the dark nights, walking to where I spend my nights is very dreadful.
