What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing a sofa set and a television to furnish my living room. I felt much shame when GD staffs visited me and had to sit on the floor since there was nothing they could sit on. Secondly, I purchased a solar panel and a battery to help provide light and energy for use in my house. I am so proud that I live comfortably today, watching live news worldwide.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Were it not for the transfer, I would not have managed to clear the huge school arrears that had accumulated in the school where my daughter learnt which would have resulted into school drop out.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
