How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I have a very beautiful house that accommodates us comfortably. Previously, I used to live in a very small house and used to be rained on as my house had a very old roof that leaked whenever it rains.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new goal as I would wish to concentrate on the goals I set before.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I am at peace now as I have managed to buy building materials that I used to build a new house. I now live in a very big house that can accommodate my large family. My family used to squeeze in a very small house and it would sometimes deny each member of the family the privacy they deserve.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to buy household items like sofa seats to beautify my house. I would be glad when I shall have accomplished this as my house will be comfortable enough for my family and even visitors who come visiting.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I had paid a loan that was giving me a lot of sterss which made me I almost run bad. I can now walk no one quarrels me and points finger at me. I had been threatened by my group members to report me to the police because I was not able to pay back the loan as I had promised them. The loan I used to pay for medical services for my son who was sick at that time. I am glad I was able to pay back the whole amount with GD transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I plan to boost my retail shop business. This will help me be financially independent and support my family well from the profits. I know I will not have to borrow any more.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I no longer borrow seats from neighbours as I used to. I did not any seat in my house and anytime I had visitors in my house, I would be forced to borrow seats or my visitors had to sit on jerricans. In most cases, my neighbours will avoid me and turn my request down. This was a big shame in my life which is no more. I used the transfers to buy a sofa set and I do not have to beg anymore for seats as before.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I want to start a small shop business, that can give me daily income from the profits. This will help me sustain and solve my family financial issues in time without having to borrow as I did earlier.
