How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in that I was able to get a motorcycle that is supporting my family needs. Prior to getting this transfer as a young couple, we always struggled to make ends meet since we had to work in people's farms to raise money or in exchange for food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life's biggest difference is being able to buy these two heads of cattle that my husband plans to use to pay my bride price (as it is in my culture to appreciate a lady's parents). This has given me happiness that I will fully stay with my husband with full blessings from my parents.
I feel happy that I was able to go get treatment for my child and myself at the right time compared to before when if anyone fell sick, there was no money to even get a pain killer.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt happy. This money will now help me in most of my pressing financial needs.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent first transfer Ugx 250000 to get back a farm land that had been mortgaged.
Through my husband, I used my transfer to buy two heads of cattle at Ugx 700000.
I then used Ugx 160000 and bought some household items such utensils, mattress, and food.
I gave my mother 520000 as part of saving.
I am currently using some money to get treatment since my child and myself are sick.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will use it to pay dowery for my wife. It's always good to pay dowery because you will earn respect as a son-in- law. Part of the money will used to recover a garden that I had staked. If any balance remains, it will be used to purchase a cow which is going to provide milk for home consumption.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is morning. When I wake up healthy in the morning, this makes me happy because it is the time that I straight way engage myself in day to day's activities.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is that I do not have adequate land for farming. When you have many gardens, it's possible for you to engage in commercial farming ,which can fetch money to the family.
