What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the transfer I will use some to reconditioned my house and used the balance to provide food for my family. I am currently engaged in making farm so as to earn some income but the farm work is very difficult for me now, due to my age I don't have the strength to make a large farm. My farm used to produced ten bags of cassava daily of which I could sell ten bags a day that was enough to buy food for my family. Now the income from my farm is very minimum usually 2 bags per day and that cannot substain my family. More besides the structure I lived in the wall is made of mud and the roof is old. When the rain starts to fall it damaged most of my belongings. I want to buy zinc to roof my house, but there's no money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what has brought me joy or happiness is when my son give me 25kg bag of rice in the month of September 2021. I was happy and started rejoicing for what he did for me because I didn't I have money to buy rice, and the fact that my son give me rice to substain my family brought so much joy to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Thevbiggest hardship I'm facing right now is the lack of money. My house is damaged and I have been living in this damaged structure for 1 year and I'm not satisfied with this kind of situation I'm in. Even though I make farm to substain my family but the money I earned from the farm is not enough to maintain my family and reconditioned my house. I will really appreciate any help to improve my livelihood
