Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
This was an exciting moment in my life characterised by ulutation and joy as it has never happened in my life to earn such an amount of money at once and most importantly, without doing any work for it. I will never forget this moment.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference this transfer has made in my daily life is that iam now able to eat nutritious food with my family. I will also be putting up in a good house when I finish renovating it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the transfer on buying iron sheets, mattress, bags of maize, clothes and beddings. I also bought fertilizer for my maize garden. Additionally i saved part of it which i use to buy daily needs like salt, cooking oil and relish.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Well, this money has come at the right time as I will now be able to buy food, mattresses as well as bags of cement to finish my house which Iam constructing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happiest and energetic in the morning. I wake up with hope and energy to go out to look for piece works.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Year in and year out, I face hunger as I do not harvest enough food for the family.
